About us

Who we are
Sisters United in Christ (SUIC) is a multi-cultural, non-denominational Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to unite and uplift people of all faiths for the purpose of serving each other and glorifying God. We pursue our vision by supporting Christian ministries, convening praise and worship services, coordinating interfaith dialogues, and theological study through our Lewis Institute for Spiritual Formation. We put our vision into practice by serving our sisters and brothers in the community through service events sponsored by SUIC and philanthropic initiatives of the McElrath-Slade Wholeness Institute.
what we do
Sisters United in Christ carries out its mission through two primary program areas: the McElrath-Slade Wholeness Institute and the Lewis Institute for Spiritual Formation.

THE BOSS

I am a very simple person whose purpose is to empower; to encourage; and enlighten others in ways that help them grow in God and prosper in life.

THE ORGANIZER

They say if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. But, if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. I want to help build one of those fisheries of success that changes lives.

THE STORYTELLER

You don’t create a better tomorrow by getting people to do big things. You create it by getting people to dream about, believe in, and strive for the great things that others say they can’t do.
