Sisters United in Christ (SUIC) is building a WHOLE world.
SUIC is committed to providing the tools to help people create whole lives. We believe whole individuals create whole families, whole families create whole communities, and whole communities create a whole world.
We put our faith into action by serving others through programs that sponsor community outreach and development programs which bring together local service providers with the people in the community who are most in need.

Lewis Institute for Spiritual Formation
The Lewis Institute for Spiritual Formation is named in celebration of the lives of Asalene and Carl Lewis, the parents of our founder Rose A. McElrath-Slade, for their generosity, unselfishness, and commitment to serving their family. They built a strong foundation in their home and community which made “wholeness” possible.
The Lewis Institute for Spiritual Formation cultivates Spiritual Wholeness by enhancing Christian ministries, gathering the community for praise and worship services, interfaith dialogues, and theological study
The McElrath-Slade Wholeness Institute
The Wholeness Institute sponsors community outreach and development programs which bring together local service providers with the people in the community who are most in need. We address the necessity for physical, emotional, mental, social, and economic wholeness in individuals, which impacts families and changes communities. The Institute works collaboratively with faith-based, philanthropic, government, corporate, academic, and community service organizations to meet the basic human needs of all people by providing tools to enhance whole lives.
Rising Light: Help for the Homeless
Rising Light: Help for the Homeless hosts and sponsors community events that deliver much needed food, clothing, shelter and other aid to the homeless or those on the verge of homelessness.
